SAP Lumira is a reporting tool which can be used to directly report on SAP HANA views, tables SAP BW Infoproviders and SAP Business Objects Universes.

Also the local desktop files data can be loaded and analysed along with real time data like from HANA models.

This tool is basically a self service tool developed by SAP for business users where they can utilize the data to do random analysis like local formulas or changing the calculations.

Thus, we can say that it is a very user friendly tool and easy to be used by non-technical end users.

The visualizations can be easily generated and give powerful insights for business dashboard. These reports can then be send via email or published on BOBJ / BO enterprise portal.
